The Seattle Sockeye(s) doesn't roll nicely out the mouth. If it's between those two, I really hope they go with KRAKKEN!!

I still think Seattle Sound is the best name, and a missed opportunity. Marketable, lots of graphical options, and relevance to the city and region.

I am unsure about this name. Detroit already throws octopus on the ice for their playoff games. They also come out from underneath one. What are the Seattle fans going to throw and under what mascot are they going to come out in?

Kraken is a mythical sea monster off Scandinavia. Not Seattle. Sockeyes’Totems,and Chiefs make a little more sense. Did that name come to you in one of your E4 dreams?

Except Hall has never played center in his entire career. Not even in junior, I don't believe.

Personally, I don't think Colorado should go after Hall. But I can't deny Seeing Hall and MacKinnon on a line together would be fun. Lol

They should buy the Seattle Thunderbirds JR team and call the NHL team the Thunderbirds

Both Seattle potential names are stupid...no flow, no easy shortening to a nickname ( as "Avs" for Colorado...got to do better.

Since the Seattle Metropolitans already won a Stanley cup... I am guessing that is the one they run with.. no? Give them a Commemoritve Banner from 1917 ... they can even have the second ugliest retro jersey in the league.

Personally , I want the Emeralds or Mets , it would distinguish themselves from the nautical themes of the other Seattle teams....

Going to agree with previous posters on the name. Emeralds or Metropolitans. Kraken an the cartoonish logo screams AHL affiliate to me.

As for sockeyes isnt there a team with that name already in juniors or something?! I mean going to go there piss vancouver off and go orcas or something. 🤣

As for the Hall trade thinking it happens at deadline and who knows what team overbids to get him.
