I gotta say I was a little worried, not that Nylander would be anything, just that Jokiharju wouldn't, and we'd still need to find another defenseman. Especially given the fact that the Hawks robbed the Coyotes in pretty much the same situation. I was very wrong. He's far from perfect, and he still makes rookie/young kid errors, but he's way ahead of the game for defensemen.

I would have moved a 2nd rounder for Burakovsky and pitched offers to Brassard and Donskoi and let Skinner walk for that kind of contract.
