If the league really wants to get rid of the constant nonsense (they don't), you suspend Barzal for 5 games for that, or more. Maybe 8. Make it truly penal to be a moron. - kingcong39
Excellent post
He's going to be fined $2,500 |

So what you’re saying is the Pp got us a point. Like it lost us points in previous games, and got us points early in the year, and will probably give/take away points later in the season.
Our PP/PK are both now around league average
It’s a non-story - sbroads24
I'm not into absolutes...fact is, had they not potted two on the powerplay today, this game never gets to overtime...see November 2 game against these same islanders when they went 0/3 and lost the game 1-0 |

that's the islanders game - Michael Pachla
It's only their game because they're allowed to get away with it, and there's an easy way to remedy that: call every single penalty. Every. Single. One.
They'll end up playing half the game on the penalty kill. |

24 minutes for Eichel - jcragcrumple
Double shifted on the Pp ...... and Ralph using the tv timeouts to help the Eichel line recover and send them back out |

We won the special teams battle today, yet the other team got an additional point, and we get 1.
Neither us or NSH scored a special teams goal, yet we end up with 2 points, and they get 0.
Do we really need to do this all year, or can people really not see how random it all is? |

No
I agree with boos. %100
We dont score a goal today if not for the pp
Also : Risto is a very good hockey player, can we all agree on that now? |

White said this? Frolic is a RWer, which is good, 8 points is 32 games this year, 34 last year and 31 years old is real ugly. Expiring contract I hope?
Trade Scandella and bogo (for anything) and we’re good - turbo044
Disagree. Scandella has played much better than McCabe, and it's not even worth discussing re: Bogosian.
Scandella should bring back something decent.
Why lose a trade with Scandella involved if it beings someone like Frolik back, who absolutely stinks? |

Bogo is not seeing the opportunity in his Niederlagen - jcragcrumple
Nein. Perhaps too much schnauben. |

He would be the bottom 6 forward the Sabres have been looking for. - Sabretooth9
Not for Scandella he wouldn't be. That trade would be lopsided in Calgary's favor. |

The Islanders get away with murder lmao.
What a joke - sbroads24
It really is pathetic, and the most frustrating aspect is it's incredibly easy to 'fix'. |

I hope 71 is saving his money because he should never get an nhl contract again |

that was the only way they could score this game...nyi plays a 90's game where they're clutching and grabbing while playing boring, devils-style hockey...it's extremely difficult to play from behind against a team like that...and that's what happened to the sabres today...without the pp they leave with no points - Michael Pachla
I'm curious why the league allows this. Every other league understands that more scoring is what draws fans, and yet the NHL seems clueless to that fact. I don't get it. |

During our crappy November we lost the special teams battle in almost every game and our record indicated that.

Yep cu they’re idiots, (frank) the nhl and the pussie refs who are too afraid to call obvious penalties in OT
Dahlin led the Sabres in ice time today 24+, attempted shots 10, shots 6 and hits 6. Dominant today. He was -1 only because of that stupid play by ullmark on goal #1. The way he kept the puck in on the PP at the end eventually led to the tieing goal. He was pretty dominant today and a female dog to play against.
Where have the Dahlin haters now, nice that they disappear when he plays like this

Okay Debby downer. Way to cherry pick on a small sample size.
How are those Bronco playoff chances? - turbo044
We are 6-2-4 in our last 12 and our $9M winger had a say in one of those victories, against the Devils in a 7-1 blowout.
What do the Broncos have anything to do with that said player ?

If Skinner scores a PP goal though it will matter. |

Agreed but for some reason they love McCabe. Miller should not be sitting today after the way he played last game and his OT goal vs edm. Makes no sense

It's nice to see, it's like that hit to the head knocked something loose. And we all new it would come, but don't Ripp on people, because he was pretty bad for a long stretch there |

The broncos mean as much to this conversation as you nitpicking. Scores go in streaks and Erod being skinner’s center for most of it is a death wish
Here’s a relevant concern: Buffalo won 12 of 45 draws today |

Anthony Duclair has 18 goals already and has been passed around like the town bike.
Yet everyone is ok with giving a winger an 8 year 72M contract. |

It's terribly boring, yet totally effective. Sit back, Clog it up to slow them down, never really pressing the attack forward, just wait and capitalize on mistakes to score. Boring hockey. |

Every line he plays on is not his fault. We need Sobotka back, cause Skinner scored 7 of his goals with him |
