He is still knees deep in his shambles pool after learning that Hughes and Elias play together the most.

On pace for 70 to 80 point season is a struggle I'll take it, I know what your saying though from what I've seen, he can be alot better and kind of snakebiten like horvat around the net. His defensive play needs lots of work.

We all know he is on pace for good numbers yet so many here and in the media and public say he is not playing well.

It's just normal. People going to pick apart every part of every players games. A lot of fantastic players aren't excellent at all aspects of the game.
