oh please, ARZ didn't give their best prospect. not even the 2nd. not even their 3rd. - fidopro
Read that they gave up their 3rd and 4th best prospects.
Apparently NJ was big on Bahl. 6'7 240 lbs defenseman. |

Blackhawks really suck this year. The 2nd round pick the Habs got for Shaw should be a good one. |

Another great move by Bergevin! Getting rid of Shaw at the right time!
Completely erased the mistake made by that idiot Bergevin when we first acquired him. |

BTW, Brendan Kelly says that MB went to Russia and screwed up the Romanov deal, so there's no way he's coming to MTL. |

KHL can offer him more money now, but apparently they are putting a salary cap in place for next season.
One thing is that can help is according to Bob Hartley he isn't playing much (12:06 average ice time) |

If he doesn't come, it'll be because Bergevin screwed up again.
If he does come, it's because he wanted to come to NA anyway so what Bergevin said/did didn't matter. |

Lol
I actually don't think the Shaw trade was such a bad one, he gave the team more than I expected really and he got a good cash out of it. He did sign him for too much money but it's not like it tied them with the cap. I think we all know they wouldn't have drafted Debrincat with that pick, probably a finn who can't score . |

We probably would have drafted Girard though.
And if you ask me, Shaw had one good season in Montreal, which was last year. The man was already breaking down when he came here.
I'm glad him and his contract are gone. |

Are you still glad when you see Jordan Weal and Nick Cousins on the second line and the powerplay? |

I'd rather see other players on the powerplay but that doesn't dempen my enthusiasm of Shaw being gone. |
