Turris is definitely an upgrade over Erod. But his contract sucks.

He's a horrible hockey player and lazy, you think he's going to be any different coming here for the Pens? no way. We aren't going to be able to dump Bogo off on the Pens for him unless the Pens get yet another injury. |

We went 3-0-2 with Eichel scoring at a 145 point pace and Larsson at an 82 point pace over the same time period. Johansson and Vesey both chipped in 3 points.
Skinner will surely bounce back, but we're essentially playing without another line. It's nothing new. I guess we'll need to get to the TDL and still be in contention and maybe Botterill will do something then, maybe we're out of it and he won't
We have 2 lines headed for regression and one guy who's going to heat up - jcragcrumple
Isn't it new compared to last year when they only really had one line that could score? |

They’d give him away to open up space I think.
If it doesn’t work out, pay Seattle an asset to take him in a year and a half |

Dan Hamhuis, Matt Irwin, Yannick Weber and Dante Fabbro is there bottom 3.

Florida has two upcoming UFAs that can play RW in Hoffman and Dadanov. They are likely not sellers though. Simmonds could fit in nicely there. Perhaps Jesper Fast from the Rangers. Ryan Reeves would be a good pick up, but I doubt Vegas trades him. - adambuffalo
Good list, Panthers May be sellers net the trade deadline if they continue down their current path |

Definitely not ..... winning teams need their 2nd and 3rd lines to score. I can’t remember the last time a 2nd or 3rd liner even scored. - Sabretooth9
Short memory?? Can’t help but notice that you were mia during dahlins game last night. Can you see my shocked 😳 look? |

If you look at the grouping after the top line by production-
Skinner
Johansson
Larsson
Vesey
Girgensons
Last year it was Sheary (34), pominville (31), Okposo (29), erod (29), Mitts (25) for a total of (148)
This year, the aforementioned "next 5" are on pace for 42, 41, 31, 26, 21 for a total of (161)
So a little bump toward the top of the "next 5," a little slip at the bottom, but overall in a similar place
The "next 5" are on pace for 13 more points than last year
Pretty insignificant |

Hiding indeed. I'm in shock you said that LOL
He would be $4M for the next 4 seasons.
The plus with his contract is it expires when he is 34, and there would be no recapture penalty as his annual salary is static at $6M per. |

Toffoli is a LW, Galy LW/C and Frolic is a RW. He's looking for a Center and a RW. - SABRES 89
Not game changers but maybe a chance of a scenery could help them. If we could get galy for scandella and frolic for bogo it would be hard to say no. Not sure those two d are needs for pit and cry though |

Ducks look like they’re out of it.
Adam Henrique has a lot of term at $5.8M and would solve the 2C problem for a long time. |

That sure feels like aiming very low.
I'd rather add a bit more for Toffoli/Kempe and Zucker, or go for a long term add like Tuch. |

Toffoli is a LW, we don't need another LW. Gally's biggest complaint is that he wants to play Center, been complaining about it since his days with the Habs. I'd take a chance on Frolic but do they take Bogo is the question. |

Very good player but 5.8m is a lot to pay a 3c if cousins solidifies the 2c.
Do like Henrique a lot but he wouldn’t come cheap |

Cozens will almost certainly be in the NHL next year - no way he goes back to the WHL. He has nothing left to prove there. |

Look what it did did for Mitts, no way you put Cousins in the same bad situation and make him your number 2 Center. |

Send them Okposo, a 2021 first, and a 2020 second.
It’s a win. Money neutral and Gives us the time to be sure Cozens is ready before he takes over at 2C |

He's following the Reinhart path. One year of Jr and to the NHL. It's a shame he's not AHL eligible next year, but unless that rule changes, he'll be in the show |
