Good info Boss, thanks.

I hope they get creative and create a unique environment downtown that all plays off each other...
Casino (or two), Bisons, Sabres, Bill's, entertainment district, more downtown housing, restaurants
Hell, get the City and State to upgrade the transportation routes to bring people in from Roch, Syracuse, etc. Schedule Sabres Saturday home games when Bill's are home on Sunday. Get people to come in on Friday evening, stay over through Sunday Bill's game.

Could be exciting...would love to see Buffalo continue climbing back!

- IonSabres

They only had 1 (one buffalo) weekend at home this season. I think was the islanders Saturday and Redskins on sunday.

Good idea ion.

I thought I heard about a Rochester/Syracuse train special a few years ago?

They need to hook up the subway to the back of the arena. In and out without the elements. Supposedly they want to build some shopping and restaurants where the old train platform is? Buffalo river side?

“Devin Singletary had 8 carries against the Browns in Week 10 -- ever since, he has recorded the 4th-most carries in the NFL and is the league's 4th-leading rusher”

Interesting 🤔

This is from October 8th, and 11 of the 12 current playoff teams were already in their spots, which is weird because the most important months of November and December hadn't been played yet

There are train lines that run directly through the 1st ward. Since the proposed plan is to make the corner where Carbones is the Southeastern corner of the lot. The tracks go right up to there and run through Lackawanna, Blasdell, Hamburg, etc. There’s your Transit system in and out of the city.

I just watched the highlights, Shaq Lawson is figuring it out, on Phillips 2 sacks it was all because of Shaq
- Stripes77

The Dolphins (frank)ed up big time waiving Phillips. But what else would one expect from the Dolphins?

This trade, stadium, and Bills talk is all well and good...but doesn’t anybody have an opinion of Jeff Skinner and his hefty contract??
- PrinceChill

Do you need to feed your fetish on hearing the bad stats? I did see an interesting Tweet this weekend by Mike Harrington where he said he should realize he's not going to play on Eichel's line with the way they are playing, he is making 9 mil so it's time for him put on his big boy pants and produce with whoever.

Enjoy!

All they need to do is move the platform, the tracks go around the arena, just build a terrace out across SHK, you could even leave the street open and have a skywalk and make them go through the store, like the Duty Free in some airports where you have to walk through to get to the terminal. It would take some shuffling around and a few bucks, but it's eminently doable.

Last night's @BuffaloBills vs. @steelers NBC Sunday Night Football matchup -- which marked the Bills' first SNF game in 12 years -- was #1 Primetime Show for the Week with 18.5 million viewers this topped by 28% the last Bills game in 11/07 vs New England when 14.5 million viewed

The Dallas vs Bills game was the highest-rated regular-season game on any network on any of the three networks with 32.538 mil viewers. There is something about Bills and viewers.

We are going to have a few prime time games next year. This market size thing is getting archaic. Like globalization, where the world is getting smaller/closer to each other, you don't have to actually live in a market to be part of that team's market of fans any longer. People move to other parts of the country/world but bring their affections with them.

- GilPerreault11

I will tell you I see more bills flags and car stickers than any other team in Fort Wayne where I live. It has a lot to do with the huge GM plant here that got a lot of transplants. But it seems like if you are a bills fan you remain one for life no matter what.

I put a Sabres sticker on my truck about 3 weeks ago and it has sparked several conversations

How long has it been since we’ve said “he’ll of a catch” by a wr or te? Knox has had a couple nice yac. To to say a receiver made a hell of a catch?
- Gr8daygo

The over the shoulder TD to Brown where he tore up his elbow on the turf was nice, not a "wow", but nice.

Dude went off...

Me going into the finals all comes down to tonight

I am up about 45

He has Brees and Thomas going

I have Cook

If Brees connects to Thomas for a TD over 40 yards its an extra 5 points for each player in our league so that would be a 30 point play against me

It's going to be VERY close

- Stripes77

Yeah it is.

I need Brees to outscore Thomas by 11.4. Thank God for the Bills D and their 19 points to even give me a chance, but QB's don't score a ton in our league only 1pt/25yds and 4 per passing TD. Edelman and Cooper killed me though.

There is a huge expense of power lines being unground is my understanding. Maybe under the road beneath SHK?

They had talked about putting in a road along those tracks for tractor trailors to help alleviate the thruway for years. It's a viable option and the plans to do this have already been done. You put stops along the way for a park and ride.

I would take Turris if they retain 2 mil

(Hides)

- sbroads24

Ew
He has 4 more years left on his contract
Definitely don’t want him for that long, even at 4mil
Heck, i wouldn’t even want him that long at 3mil

He just isn’t a good player anymore
If this was his last year on his deal, then i wouldn’t mind us taking a shot

But there’s no way in hell we should be “taking a chance” on a guy with 4 years left

Smart.

Sounds like it would alleviate some of he traffic from a 65,000 seat football stadium.

Ducks look like they’re out of it.

Adam Henrique has a lot of term at $5.8M and would solve the 2C problem for a long time.

- Der Kaiser

A 40point player isn’t gonna “fix” anything for us
And at 5.8mil per...
That’s just a bad idea

Steelers, Vikings, Tennessee were all last in their division. Bills have a chance to leap frog the Pats for first in the division, Seahawks for now have bypassed the 49ers for first in theirs.

A bills victory on a Sunday will push the Pats into a wildcard spot, and playoff seeding for the NFC is still wide open for spots 1-6.

Lots of things to play for from November on.

The Bills won and are in the playoffs. The Sabres are in 2nd place and playing really well. And Bogo will never play another game for the Sabres. All positives. Why the angst on this board?

Pat's need to lose to the dolphins too.
We (meaning Bill's fans) need to win both for the afc east

Common opponents tie breaker. The Cleveland loss did the Bill's in.

Off to houston most likely

Much better then off to Arrowhead. I think the Chiefs are the last team I’d want to play in the AFC right now. Their defence is finally figuring it out.

The Colts did it last season. Steelers have won 7 out of their last 9. Tennessee has won 6 of their last 8.
