The numbers to bear out the fact he is not producing at the rate we saw last year.
The numbers also bear out the fact he is being utilized significantly less; -25%, and as a result he has
-less shots,
-less high-danger opportunities
therefore less goals and points, while still shooting over his 9 year career average.
So RALPH and Staff have received exactly what should be expected when significantly reducing a player's TOI
Want more production?
Get a 2C who can help drive possession, shots and high-danger opportunities ...and play him 2nd line minutes. - IonSabres
Maybe he is utilized less because Ralph doesn't like his game as much as Housley did? The team is doing better with him on the ice less. Like it was said over the weekend, by a BN writer, it's time to put on his big boy pants. My beliefs wholeheartedly.

You do realize that he's also outscoring Sam, the sloth who stinks, Reinhart, Taker of 179 picks in front of, taker of the tandem bicycle spot, taker of drugs, taker of not signing autographs, taker of pp specialist, which sometimes count sometimes don't, can't really tell, taker of being weak even though he goes to the dirty areas constantly. Notice he only takes. What a taker. - SDSabre

Seeing as JB is fond of bargain bin acquisitions, I'm thinking Erod and a 4th for half retained on Anisimov ($2.25). He's a real center - admittedly past his prime. Senators get a younger roster player with RFA status and a pick. Sabres get some playoff experience and another option for the middle 6. Similar to the Rob Niedermeyer signing back in the day, with a little more offense. He's signed for next year to give some cover for Cozens
Wouldn't be a sexy move, but it would be something - jcragcrumple
I understand the stipulation is doing something and not costing much, but man I would hope for something more...realistically he'll get 30 pts?
I'd rather take a chance on Galy there and see what he's got. |

Young-ish, and a pending UFA. He gone. Centers come at a premium though. I'd say a first is out of the question, but a pair of 2nds or a 2nd and a good prospect is possible.
Miller and Bogo are the scratches tonight btw |

I lambasted you, for him being the "2c" in regards to brown being the 1c in Ottawa
You proved that websites had pageau on paper as the 2c, even though he clearly is outplaying the 1c
I apologized.
I think the idea is grand 😀
Pageau is now listed as #1c |

Normally I would say yes, but he is from ottawa so could give a hometown hometown discount. |

What a piece of turd. Pretty stupid of him (or his agent) to publicly demand a trade - in his contract year no less. Let him rot. He can sign as a UFA to play in the KHL next year.

Sabres get 3 empty-net goals in the final 3:00. Risto is +7 and puts Nylander in the stands with the best hip-check ever witnessed on ice. |

There are other big stars, elite even who are not regularly scoring on a predefined schedule consistently throughout the season?
