I wonder if the Isles can bring him over in March of this year or after the KHL season, stick him in BP and burn his ELC ? In that scenario he doesn’t have to sacrifice a year of $$$ on an ELC where he can only make 925,000 and ink a one way deal that both team and player are happy with.

It would make it easier for him to swallow to come here as far as money the first year.
