I am the only one for sure.. but I am happy he is back in B-port. My hope is this last idiocy has finally been his rock bottom moment. He went from being the first call up in B-port to the last b/c of this idiocy. Now I want him to finally realize if he doesn't do EVERYTHING he is asked he will be done in hockey.

If he finally figures it out.. then maybe.. just maybe he can become a dynamic player for the islanders in the future. The Talent is there...

If I never read the words "Incarcerated Bob" again I'd be so happy. They were asking for TWO top prospects for a rental, but instead ended up taking a 1st and some spare parts from Arizona. Sounds legitimate to me

So if the Devils are cleaning house and will build with Hirsch and Hughes and the young talent they have on top of the 2 first rounders they will have, you gotta to think Simmonds and even Subban are also available for a full rebuild youth movement. I wonder if they would move Palmieri and if so you think he would be a fit for the Islanders?

Yeah they went from Dobson and Sorokin to the pile of garbage they got back instead. Makes sense. So many things we could’ve countered with that wouldn’t have killed us while giving the Devils a much better trade.

He's 28 and if they get a nice draft pick and Prospect they may let him go. I don't think they are in any rush to move him but if they are in full rebuild mode then maybe they move him for the right piece/pieces?

Yeah he's not a massive points-producer but the last four seasons, all in NJ, he's posted 30, 26, 24, 27 goals and is on pace for 30 again playing on a horrific team. He'd be a great winger for Barzal.
