I agree. I read someone suggest that it's not catering to the more blue collar crowd that loved the flyers back in the day with these insane prices . Maybe there's merit to this.
Hard to understand how you're seeing more of young player development under Vigneault than under Hakstol. Vigneeault is the beneficiary of all the development work that Hakstol put in with Konecny, Sanheim, Provorov and Lindblom. Vigneault has received the developed NHL player rather than the young players breaking in making repeated mistakes and not fully ready to produce at the level they're at now. Hakstol was very good with player development. That wasn't where the issue was.
I also don't see how Vigneault if holding more players accountable. It's much easier to move players out of spots when you have more quality players to work with. When you have a lesser roster, it far more difficult. - MJL
