right now he reminds me of Pominville, who had a lot of likeable traits but ultimately lacked conviction way too often...

sam has fallen into the "suck sisters" approach of ice-floating the last two games...Okposo has been playing with a ton of conviction

I’m with ya. I’m not a Reinhart fan. Let’s face it, he’s just barely above average without Eichel. Maybe a 2nd line LW? He gets most of his points because of Eichel. Put someone else next to Eichs that’s borderline elite and Eichs leads the league in scoring. Just not a fan of Skunk’s game. Too bad he’s Eichel’s close bud as that’d be a guy you could get a lot for due to the perception around the league that he’s better than he is.

the Eichel line leads the team in scoring...sam is third on the team and is on pace to top his seasonal production for the fourth straight year...he ain't chopped liver...just wish he had more conviction to his game

No, even if it is lotto protected. This draft is reminiscent of 2015. Talent runs about 20 picks deep.

The fear is the team slowly fades out of the playoffs as the season moves along, without any further moves being made until it's too late. If that happens again this season, I will not blame one person for wanting Botterill's head.

Being that they're in 2nd place in the division and currently in a playoff spot, I bet you that if this team had a GM you approved of, you'd use another word besides "brutal".
