No I meant trying Gaudette at wing but either way I think Gaudette has more offensive upside that either one of them. Horvat is at best a number two center and on a good team a third liner imo. Hey, I love Horvat and his hard working style but he is no offensive wizard. JT Miller has the decent stats but he could be a locker room problem if there is one. Just the fact that the Rangers gave up on him and TB moved him down the lineup and then just got rid of him. There has to be a reason we do not know about. All I want is wins no matter what but after Pettersson and Boeser I think Gaudette has the most skill.
One day Joe was posting his terrible hot takes and got embarrassed and upset that a few of us were mocking his way off base hockey opinions about the Flyers players. (Him thinking that JTM is a career 3rd liner is on par with most of his hockey knowledge.)
To try to prove himself to us, he posted his resume to try show us that he knew best, which mainly included his 50+ years of fantasy hockey pool experience.
He then PM'd me out of all the people in that group of Flyers fans saying that he'd like to talk it out, I gave him a random phone number that he actually called and got a response from. Ever since then Joe has been out for revenge.

Horvat is looking more and more like a 3rd liner not unlike Dustin Brown.

The flyers thread regulars are my witnesses, we all know what happened that day
It still haunts me - Nucker101
Man you are one strange duck. How many times have you changed your user name? That tells the story. I stand behind everything I say and yes sometimes I am wrong on occasion but at least I will admit to it. I have met some amazing people here on HB and also have met some keyboard warriors that really need to grow a pair. You kinda fall into that category, haha

Joe recognizes a moron when he sees one. Take that as a compliment Nucker, I refer to use as Loser101 but who cares

As far as scoring forwards go.
i'd rank them as:
EP
JTM
Boesser
JV
Gaudette
Bo - dbot
Dustin Brown is a very good comparison as far as scoring goes by Brown was far more physical when he was Horvat's age. I really like Horvat but the bottom line is to score goals and win games.
Hopefully it's him just trying to get him to play the right way. I'm sure Miller sees something of himself in Boeser, as Miller got chewed into earlier in his career for spotty play and lackluster effort. - NewYorkNuck
That was my take on it as well. Some interviews have made it sound like JTM recognizes an opportunity to take on a leadership role as a veteran and get the younger guys rounded into form quicker. I believe he also referenced at one point that AV was hard on him early in his career but he now understands it was for his own good.
