I saw and heard the Miller/Boeser incident. Miller ran a pass along the backboards and Boeser turned away from the pass and the play went the other way. Miller yelled "(frank)" and then followed Boeser to the bench yapping in his ear. Then it continued on the bench and eventually Boeser turned and started giving it back to him.


Regardless if people think that is OK or not, Boeser does that often. Turn left when the pass is coming up the right of him etc... he did it last night actually. It looks like the time wasting trick you do to get the icing call but these are passes to him from team mates.

One day Joe was posting his terrible hot takes and got embarrassed and upset that a few of us were mocking his way off base hockey opinions about the Flyers players. (Him thinking that JTM is a career 3rd liner is on par with most of his hockey knowledge.)

To try to prove himself to us, he posted his resume to try show us that he knew best, which mainly included his 50+ years of fantasy hockey pool experience.

He then PM'd me out of all the people in that group of Flyers fans saying that he'd like to talk it out, I gave him a random phone number that he actually called and got a response from. Ever since then Joe has been out for revenge.

I remember back in the day when a lot of people had pagers. I used to go to the pages in the Georgia Straight with dating services and phone porn and page him with numbers from The Man Hole and The Pipeline etc.... he'd call back and then I'd get a raging message in my voice mail from him.

Horvat is looking more and more like a 3rd liner not unlike Dustin Brown.

That was my take on it as well. Some interviews have made it sound like JTM recognizes an opportunity to take on a leadership role as a veteran and get the younger guys rounded into form quicker. I believe he also referenced at one point that AV was hard on him early in his career but he now understands it was for his own good.

AV pushed that narrative. Miller responded. AV always did that. Pats himself on the back when players he wouldnt be patient with do better somewhere else.
