While one can appreciate that he is doing the best he can, is it entirely possible that his efforts are simply falling short? I contend that it's possible.

This Sabres board, save for a handful of posters, has become utterly embarrassing and just peppered with aggressive, classless posts that "fans" use as an attempt to prove how "smart" they are.

I mean I think I accepted that the time I actually started to post on here instead of lurking for rumours.

In the grand scheme of things we generate revenue for a guy who makes up rumours, whom everyone on here makes fun of.

I wasn’t here to prop everyone up and make feel good posts about the direction of the team, and tell everyone what they want to hear and ignore the deep issues that nobody wants to accept.

But hey I started this account I was 16, and now that I’m no longer a teenager and in the new year will be studying and working towards the next step in my professional career I probably won’t post on here as much anyways so you’ll get your wish.

Oh I think he failed in some someways to, he needed to bring in a 2c and failed, think he waited to long. But also new that it was gonna take a little while. Sorry but Murray was given the keys to a BMW, and Botts got a Ford Escort. We were horribly short on depth players in are system. Players that should have been taken roster spots on the Sabres the last 3 years were not there, cause they were basically traded away in the 22 trades that Murray made.

I agree with that, coupled with atrocious drafting from Darcy and ThankYouForYourService. Jason's made some good trades, but he has yet to elevate this team to consistently competitive.

I am hard on both of them, but the whole team was a mess, not much they could have done, looked like the whole team was skating in poop

Totally agree, I actually think this was his plan since he took over, unfortunately Mitts hasn't worked out, and that screwed alot up.

Missed the game. Went to see Star Wars instead. Um...yeah.

Casey Mittelstadt will be the demise of Jason Botterill, he pinned all his hopes as him as 2nd line center and it backfired on him. Got nothing for ROR and is paying Skinner 9 mill a year with no center.

Really? That actually kind of makes me excited for the movie now. Everything I have read about Star Wars has been extremely negative.

Cozens is Eichel lite ..... I think he will make up for it. But I agree. The last 2 years he was banking on mitts to be good. Maybe 40-50 point player.

How cozens plays..... his style is very similar to Eichel.

Both rush the puck
Good passers
Really good shots
Great skaters / excellent speed

Cozens just has a little less god given talent

His roster is a complete embarrassment. He was exposed as an absolutely poop GM last night. His team minus the elite player is utter crap
