I think the right trade (which would involve some risk so Botterill will never do it) would be able to address multiple issues at once.

You would acknowledge that the resulting point total is not unlike Girgensons being a 20 goal guy on tank nation sabres.

his ATOI is up nearly 3 1/2 minutes. gives him some more points but makes him twice the liability out there.

That's it, Botts has made a few mistakes, but all the picks and players traded by Murray left nothing in the system, players that should have been filling spots on the roster the last 3 or so years weren't available cause they were traded away

I don’t understand how this team is so bad without ONE player. How many top 10 picks have they had?? It’s pathetic. Jack Eichel deserves better than this trash heap. They’re just fortunate the Atlantic is off to a slow start, but c’mon get this guy some help.

The big issue is Mittelstadt/Johansson have produced AHL like on ice results.

Can't even criticize chemistry until they put someone there who can move the puck in the right direction.

- RhD: Risto or Montour, Miller, Bogo (unlikely as he is nearly worth zero now)
- LhD: McCabe, Scandella
- Forwards: Vesey, Sheary, Mojo, Larsson, Girgs
- Prospects: Mitts, Thompson, Asplund (would prefer to retain), Borgen.
- Draft picks: 2020; except, 1st needs to be top 5 protected, 2021, 2022
- Retain Salary upto the max of 50%

I think Johansson is this years okposo from last year. He's not bad, but he still thinks he's as good as he was in 16-17 and the end result is tragic.

I just can't believe he sat on it like thought the 2c position would resolve itself and that he could carry all these d-men without anyone being unhappy with playing time.
