This loss is in no way on Greiss. Demented to even think that imo. Jackets took it to them. Unfortunately I was there tonight. They got out hustled zero urgency in their game. Better team won and it wasn’t Greiss’s fault. Jackets controlled play and they won. They deserved it. Blame Greiss if it makes you feel better.😂

Eh, I thought goaltending was kind of disappointing last night. Maybe not the reason they lost, but I'd say a reason. I can't be mad about it since goaltending's bailed them out more often than not, but last night I don't think any of the three goals Greiss let up were particularly good (watch the highlights...it's basically the "Greiss abandons the post too early" show), and, yeah, if he just gets one of them, it's a point in the bank.

I'd say the biggest issue was the team not being able to finish after spending extended time in the offensive zone. But that happens with this team...we know they're in need of another player or two with a scoring touch. So, they needed to win that game 3-2 instead of 5-3...and I think it was there for them.

I liked deHaan but I never got on Garth for not signing him. Calvin is just way too injury prone. I thought his last contract was just dumb and he should have gotten no more than two years to prove he can stay healthy.

He came advertised as a PP QB and he fell short. I never was impressed by him and didn’t mind when he signed elsewhere. He, like many of Garth’s dman picks were sub par.

He found a role and the last few years was a good defenseman for us on some terribly defensive teams. He has a bum shoulder so in hind sight it was a good non sign but still an effective player when not injured.
