Ek has the Isles all in for Pageau. Now this is a rumor that makes sense.

At least it was for a forward. Many of the Isles rumors involve a 6th or 7th dman.

Yeah, but now it definitely won't happen.

It's a win that EK does not have Isles interested in a mediocre dman.

I wouldn’t trade either of them individually for Nylander.

We're not gonna get a trade. Other than bringing in Trotz and his staff, there's been nothing done. Current roster is all Garth (yikes), save for Brassard, Varlamov, Komarov, and maybe one or two others. Trotz is a huge add, but why nothin else?
- streaks

Nothing done. He flipped Varlamov and Lehner which all indications point toward a Sorokin friendly move. Brassard was definitely a solid signing. Komorov was a horrible signing from day one who was at least somewhat valuable last year but has been awful this year. This team is in my opinion two players away from being a legit cup contender. A top line sniper to play with Barzal and maybe a JG Pageau as third line scoring depth.

I wouldn’t trade Pulock straight up for Nylander, let alone our top prospect

Why would Toronto be looking to make a trade. They have the best team in hockey

That’s what I was thinking. They already have this cup locked up they should be thinking of next years cup and save their premium assets.

They started planning the Stanley Cup parade, except that no one could remember on what street to hold it.

Lou’s a total wild card. He doesn’t even show up at work everyday.

Not really. Shows up to the office once in a while. Just look at what he’s done to this team since he’s been here, nothing, tells you everything.
