My point is you can’t sit here and claim he’s wasted assets like Tim Murray, while also complaining he isn’t going to do anything.

It’s pretty clear he’s only trading prospects or prime assets for guys he envisions here long term like Montour and Skinner, both good, young players.

I think his downfall is Mittelstadt right now. He should’ve had a backup plan.

The Oilers are basically in the same position as the Sabres right now, strong start but trending down, barely hanging on to a playoff spot, and they have McDavid. Don’t see why you want to try to be like them.

I don't know that it is so much a lack of grit as it is a lack of willingness to go to the front of the net. In the last minute of play we kept cycling the puck round and round the outside and there was not a single sabre where the goals are scored. You gotta give them that - nobody circles the perimeter like the Buffalo Sabres.

Anyone can score on eichels wing, look at Oloffson. Skinner is on pace for like 23 goals this season in year one for 9 mill. Only gonna get worse year to year. He’s our new Okposo

acciari scored 7 goals in his past 4 games, back to back hat tricks. Huberdeau had an assist on 5 of them.

That is the impact a top end player has on a line.

Victor Olofsson is probably a 15-20 goal 45 point player and is going to get 60+ points on Eichel’s wing.

Let this sink in. Kyle Okposo has a higher Points per game avg in his first two years in Buffalo than Skinner has this year. Yikes...
