Yeah don't know either, thought he really might be, but with the extra money they have know, according to cap central they were supposed to be right up against it again next year and they had a few other guys they needed to sign. But who knows.

The Blackhawks received a former Hawk Marcus Kruger as well as MacKenzie Entwistle, Jordan Maletta, Andrew Campbell and a fifth round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.

So circumvent the cap with an “equipment” allergy, then ship him to AZ so the sun can burn the allergy off him...
There were a couple other shady cap circumventing tricks, but I can’t remember them now. Hossa was the most blatant though, I think...

David Bolland came to mind as well but that was Florida.
What the Leafs are doing with Clarkson and Horton is pretty shady although allowed in the context of the rules. |
