One other thought, I know the nfl has a “pro scout” position that balances with the Collage scouts. Does the NHL break out scouts into pro and amateur, if so, who’s the Sabres pro scout? Is it just Botts?

How many teams are ACTUALLY out of it right now?

He isn't scared to make that deal. Who, on the other end, is ready to MAKE that deal?

Such a deal would probably mean that the other team is basically giving up on the season, if they're trading you their good player for, say, a 1st, top prospect (Mitts), etc, etc.

Mitts- rushed but talented... will Taylor fix his game and will he gain the strength to be a top 6 nhl forward.

Cozens - looking like a good one at this point. Don’t rush his work load but looks like he will need to be on the big club due to Ahl age issues and nothing left to prove in Jr’s. Just don’t force him into a 2c roll.

Roustilian (spelling). I think a botts guy. Isn’t looking too bad. Ahl next year? Potential 3/4 c with the big club?

Davidson - anyone got anything on him

Weissbach - hasn’t he been helping super midget look good?

Pekar - echl. Looks feisty. Ahl next year?

How long do you think prospects take, especially when they are drafted at18, the prospects that should have been taken spots on this team weren't available cause the cupboards were dry. You can blame Botts all you want, and he has made mistakes but this goes back before him to.
