Garbage penalty, lost draw, McCabe sitting down between 2 players covering nobody = goal. Pretty simple. I’m starting to hate McCabe he’s good at nothing and has no sense of positioning

It’s quite nice actually. Hope he gets rewarded for it soon. It’s amazing the chances that can be generated with a slot shot pass attempt instead of a shot from the corner.

Perhaps you could have recognized McCabe not covering him then sitting down helplessly between the shot and the goal. Why don’t you watch the replay. McCabe’s hockey sense = your hockey analysis

He was already playing a cross-ice pass, though. At some point a goalie has to expect the defense to do their job.

Idk if he may have an "attitude problem" , or just flat out hasn't earned the ice time, or has just not been the "favored" one. I've heard all three.
He hasn't had anywhere near the NHL opportunity which Casey was granted. All I really know about him is he was the kid that threw his silver medal into the crowd cuz he was pissed it wasn't gold.
