Guys like him, strome should be guys who we should target. Guys that are young with potential for high talent. No one is dumb enough to trade a proven #2 Center like Botts did for scraps. Need to hope we get lucky hitting on an underperformer. Flank that guy with skinner and Reinhart and that could be a nice second line.

Kruger won't put Skinner and the 1st line now, what makes you think he will later. IMO, trading Reinhart makes no sense. Which is why you won't see any blockbuster trades, Botterill wants to see what Reinhart's contract brings next year.

It's not what I think Ralph should do, it's what I would like to see. I never mentioned Ralph. Just my own thoughts. I get it, he doesn't want to move Skinner up there and I think that's a mistake. Reinhart has not be clicking with Eichel lately and I have always loved the idea of VO at RW. I think he could score 50 on that side.

Wouldn’t botts have had preliminary discussions with Samson’s agent already? He has to have a ballpark idea where his contract is going to land...
