He’s still very young & very skilled

I don't believe any of that at all Common sense if you're at 7% body fat and you're working out you will have abs or some what Muscular body and you wouldn't have a fat face...

Allen has been good for about 3 games all year and the rest the defense carried them to victory. The games we lost ..... Allen sucked and defense got crushed.

If Allen was on a bad team ..... no one would think he improved or got better

- Sabretooth9

Tell me how many of Josh Allen's 4th quarter comebacks were led by the defense in the past 2 years? I'll hang up and listen.

Actually that is fake news ..... I’ve had my body fat tested multiple times when I played for hockey and during the off-season training. I was down to 8% body fat and did not have abs.

So that is not necessarily true. You are assuming.

- Sabretooth9

Did you workout and do weights ? There is no way he could be 7% body fat with the workout hockey players get he be Skinny as a rail or look somewhat muscular but no he looks like Kelly wellwood

The Cowboys and Steelers were pretenders.

Fitzpatrick just went into Foxborough and threw for 300 and won.

I do think you’ll beat the Texans this week though.

Tre White should not only be up for Defensive MVP, but for NFL MVP too.

- Pegullaville

I think the bills can beat the Texans. Watson is very hit or miss. I’ve had him in fantasy for a couple years. He put up some monster days and then put up some duds.

Just depends on the day.

Nothing to do with the point you were trying to make last night my dude. Your whole premise was Law of the Farm and high draft picks. Penguins and Blackhawks were first two examples you gave before you overstepped your area of expertise. Please note if you are a studier of time like the 3ER, you will note perennial success in the NFL is not sustained by having a good defense. It is when having a good QB. In the words of my Calculus teacher, you might want to write that down.
- Hatboro_Swords

Sure, perennial playoff appearances which at the end of the day gives you a shot at the ship. However Joe Flacco and Nick Foles have as many rings as Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.

Peyton Manning had one ring until he was carried to his second one.

Elway didn’t win his two rings until TD showed up and we played good defence.

Eli Manning is the epitome of the “Average QB” and has two rings.

Look up the last 10 matchups between #1 offences and #1 defences and tell me the record.

Yes lol. I worked out. Ran on the track (agility training) and skated daily.

So fake news that 7-8% body fat means a 6 pack

Buffalo Sabres head trainers took the measurements If you want to question who did the testing

You forgot the part where I said you need a good QB to win in the NFL and you literally said that with average QB play the Broncos were 4-1 and with below average QB play, they were 3-8.

Which is almost exactly what I said about the 49ers and Jimmy G.

Last year when he was injured with largely the same DEFENSE: 4-12

This year with a healthy Jimmy G and the SAME DEFENSE: 13-3, Division title, #1 seed, 1st round bye.

What are you even talking about at this point?

Whoa Whoa Whoa omit Nick Foles before i read the rest of your post. Seriously. Brandon Graham absolutely came up HUGE at the biggest moment i'll give you that, but Nick Foles was magical. Nothing to do with Eagles defense playing good. Tom Brady had like 500 yards passing and the score of the game was like 41-33 or something. Foles outgunned the Patriots. Had to crush Bill Belichick.

So having the same defence means Nick Bosa and 2/3 of the linebackers corps is different ?

Bosa has a huge role on that defence don’t give me that crap.

Look at what they did to Rodgers this year.

Hopefully he’s getting the kick in the a$$ he clearly needs

I always laugh when ppl suggest bringing in guys like Turris or Henrique for 4 years at around a 6mil Cap hit

We’ve got 2 good top6 guys coming
Unfortunately, there’s no FF button for their development

We need another sniper to go with Skinner & Olofsson

And put Sam back at 2C for the rest of the season

Was that before or after getting demolished by the Seahawks 43-8? Dude, give it up.

Denver was running on a treadmill until Manning went there, and you don't "carry" a QB to an NFL title when you lose that badly.

He literally carried that entire franchise to TWO Super Bowls and they finally showed up in the 2nd one.

1) it’s been well documented that he’s been looking for a 2C

2) no one here but Gerbe thought Mitts was gonna be a bust this season
We ALL thought he’d take a step forward
So was it really ridiculous that Botts thought the same?
And his backup plan if Mitts did struggle again,
was a signing that everyone here liked...
Correct?

I’m frustrated too dude
But not that we didn’t get Soderberg
That’s for damn sure

- jdfitz77

Now? Yes, most likely.

But Botterill said he was comfortable with his forwards going into the season. It's at least possible that he assumed Mittelstadt or Mojo would solve his problems.

I'm not going to assume that he tried all that hard over the summer. He very well may have thought he had it figured out. I dont trust his forward analysis "a-tall"

If vesey. Sheary Skinner miller Johansson Atleast produced at their normal career averages. Our team would greatly be improved.

But guess what ..... they are all having career lows and not playing well at all

He scored 2 ...
- gerbe75pts

Fine.

Jordan Leopold had 4 more points in just 7 more games, Gerbe had the same amount of points as superstar Paul Gaustad.

No one's denying his heart, that's certainly why he won't go away, but that was his career year. He simply wasn't good enough.

Dude are you on drugs? I never said this...

I mean, of course he has a huge role on the defense, seriously?

But without Garopollo, that team is 6-10, you are out of your mind if you think otherwise. I think almost every single game they played this season was a 1-score game.

What was your feeling on mitts before the season?
Guy lost weight, looked to be taking training serious
Lowered his body fat considerably

Guy was a top 10 pick, 21 years old.
Fair to assume he could play at least 2/3 center this season?

I know you had erod penciled in at 2c.

Can botts be blaimed for guys just not performing on the ice? Not Living up to his expectations ?

Sure, but some has to fall on the players like mitts, rrod , sheary , vesey and Johansson

- Boss34

What I thought was we needed 50 points from the 2C position to make the playoffs. I didnt know if any of them were capable of it.

I thought Erod would get 35-40 points in that position if he played there. Obviously I was very, very wrong on that part

Thanks for proving my point.

The Broncos averaged 40 points a game that year. That was literally the best offence in the history of the NFL. Manning threw 55 TD’s.

We then lost to the #1 defence in the NFL by 30+ points.

Cam Newton and the leagues #1 offence lost to the #1 defence in the NFL in the 2015 Broncos and we had 188 yards of total offence.

The Giants ruined the Pats perfect season because of Justin Tuck and Michael Strahan and Eli made just enough plays to win that day.

You didn’t like the Skinner trade?
What about drafting of Mitts?
And of Cozens?
Did u like the MoJo signing?

I think everyone around here was happy with those moves

These guys that ppl are upset with like Sheary & Sobotka were brought in as placeholders till Botts could build his team

U gotta remember,
Reinhart was centering Pouliot & Griffith pre-Botts
And Girg & Larsson we’re regulars in top9 “scoring” roles

GMTM really trashed this team
