If Belichick had been here the last 20 years the Bills would have had a lot more success than if Brady would have been here for the last 20 years. Hell, if Brady and Belichick were in Cleveland for 20 years they wouldn't have the same success. Put Peyton or Brees on the Pat's with Bill and they both would have more Superbowls than Brady. The Bills have the 2nd ranked defence in the league this year and averaged 18 points per game. That equals 10-6 and playoffs. Craziness.

Look at Chayka, made 2 huge deals since the offseason. Sure, they play in the softest division in hockey(only because the Atlantic has 2 great teams and a very good one), but if he's going to strike out, it's going to be swinging. This "but the Sabres have a ton of cap space next year!" is a red herring. 10 guys signed and only $33M in space. And FA is a bad place to spend said money unless you can somehow convince Backstrom to come here for 4 years which isn't happening. So you need a trade and a re-sign regardless.
