The Jackets would never trade Jenner, so this is all for nothing.
- SABRES 89

Why would you think that? They went all in last year and should be rebuilding. I don't think it would take a huge deal to trade for a 30-40 point center. That being said, I would rather target Wennberg if we were looking at CBus as a trade partner.

No way I'd do that unless they're taking Okposo. Horrible contract ($4.9m per for 3.5 more years) for a guy who can't score 5 goals a year

Still should, people act like he hasn't been getting chance's.
- Buff36

Last year he averaged 3.26 shots per game. This year he is averaging 3.28. Difference is he is shooting 8.6% this year which is nearly identical to his last year in Carolina (8.7%) and last season he shot a career high at 14.9%.

Sure, they could move him to Jack's line and he could score more, but would that make the team better?

Or would we be like Edmonton, who have two guys on pace for 120+ points and still out of the playoffs?

We need a 2C, it would have helped him, but people on here act like he wasn't getting any chances with who he was playing with.

I know, right, it's crazy. Here's a talented winger that scores who should be with Eichel. He would have 20 goals by now. Come on Ralphie Boy!
- mhp

Didnt you get the memo?
Ralph is "spreading the scoring around"
Unfortunately, he has been spreading one goal per game among 4 lines lately.

Skinner has 11 goals. 7 came in the first 16 games playing with Sobotka. 4 came in the 22 games that Sobotka's been out. For all the people that complained about Sobotka, there's a reason why Krueger had him there, and why that line was leading the team in EV scoring. Thompson probably could've filled the role and perhaps added more scoring, unfortunately he got hurt.

New decade tomorrow and the same wanna be General Managers and Coaches will be here as always, for 8 - 10 hours making trades and telling you that you have no idea what you are talking about.

The smell in here is redundant.

Dear sweet Jesus, I pray that some here attain a life this decade.

Good post, people complain about Sobotka all the time, but he was helping Skinner more than people think, maybe not point wise for himself but working the boards, creating space

Truth is like a dagger some times, I know.🙋‍♂️

I mean listen, it's perfectly okay to spend 8 - 10 hours a day on a hockey message board if you don't have a life.

Knock yourselves out.

I see these kind of spark happening.

Goaltending could give the Sabres a new look and feel

Ullmark has played well, but I see a Rochester promotion soon. Maybe the hamburglar?

Sooner than later please
