I wonder if ROR’s Blues teammates hate him too? Good thing all the Sabres love each other and get along so well. Think of where they’d be if they didn’t.

She might also just be making excuses for his poor play

I only suggest that, bc it does seem odd that the Sabres wouldn’t just call someone up

Not saying anything on the ror situation ( he’s gone, and it’s literally nothing that matters at this point) but did you see Eichel’s reaction to Jokers goal on Sat? He looked legit happy for all you saying he’s gonna be requesting a trade in a month. I 100% think his ego would be too big for that, and he wants nothing more then to be part (biggest part) of the solution to the problem.

I think the connection between Eichel and Allen has helped immensely. The two of them could be great for the city. Allen knows how to say the right things. Jack sounds better in the post game interviews.

There will be bad games, but overall Jack seems to be more comfortable in his role and I wouldn't be shocked if Allen has had an influence in how he handles the attention.

I sure hope Jack’s fine with not making the playoffs year after year. It feels unlikely to change anytime soon.

They went out & got Bonino so they’d have a strong 3C though
So unless they have a replacement,

I would love some additional info if anyone can look into this but here goes:

Long story short, a mutual friend told me that Carter Hutton's wife gets her hair cut at the salon she works at and that she is pretty liberal about talking about him I guess...

Take this for what you will but his wife claims he has been injured multiple times this season (none that I can remember the team disclosing) and that since the start of December, he has been dealing with a moderate/severe back injury. Possibly since before the Flyers game, but definitely since. She is apparently very upset with how the team is handling his injury/playing time.

Very bizarre if you ask me.

Beady, I got your PM and replied back to you. This seems awful strange. On one hand I get it, she likes to talk about her husband but she also needs to be careful because you never know who is listening. He could have some minor injury that just isn't enough to put him on IR. What her beef is with the doctors not sure on that. If he has a back injury which can always be problematic with a goaltender, I would think an MRI would be done and if it's, let's say back spasms or something like that rest is the best option. Being a backup is rest in my view so no biggie imo.

It kinda sounds like there's more to this and could be Hutton is disenchanted with not playing. Very odd. And as others have said, it would be easy to pull him if he's hurt and call up JJ and move 6K up to Rochester. By the way, 6K got a shutout the other night in Cincinnati and I don't think he'll be in the ECHL much longer.

Botts isn't a rental guy, nor should he be. Anyone he grabs of significance is going to have years on their contract or RFA rights. If he snagged a high end pending UFA, which is probably close to 0%, you better believe there's interest in re-signing.
