You people are clueless, you don't put Skinner on the 2nd or 3rd line, he belongs on the top line . - SABRES 89
Up until oloffson's injury, you were getting "skinner type" numbers out of a 7th round rookie draft pick on eichels left wing.
Not sure if you would get those numbers out of oloffson in skinners role this season?
Isnt skinner known for his 5 x 5 proless? His ability to create without a top 1c?
Prior to playing with eichel, back in Carolina?.
I'm hoping they signed him based on that, not only the 40 goals with eichel last season |

When Crosby is healthy Malkin plays on the second line. Skinner is no Malkin. I guess Pittsburgh is clueless too.
How about Kane on the second line for years in Chicago? He doesn’t play with Toews. I guess Chicago is clueless too. |

Some take longer to reach, motivate, whatever, though.
Some players just don't EVER get it.
I'm not absolving Ralph from all blame, but the kid should have been in the AHL at the start of the first full year.
The funny thing is, you watched him in college and at the world level, and he's confident and dogged on the puck. If he lost the puck, he'd stop on a dime and go try to get it back. Up here, I see NONE of that? Is that bad coaching? Somehow, I'm not laying all blame at Ralph's feet for that. Poor effort is not bad coaching. - Powerslave
Good post.
I'm just saying its ridiculous to blame ralph 0%?
Whether its 10% ralph, %30 management misuseage and %60 Casey's fault.
I'm giving krueger some credit for eichels break thru season. As well as john jack for trying harder ect |

Vesey is literally three goals below his best statistical season’s pace(last year). He has five now and could have been expected to have 8 instead. His assists are right where they are expected to be.
Three goals below expectations over forty games and people are using his drop in production as an excuse for Botts.
Give me a break. - Beethoven
No excuse for Botts, he scored his 1st goal in the 21st game, he has 5 after 43, so unless he scores 12 in the final 39 he won't come close to his Avg. |

How about erod in -4.5 this season? (Based on 9 last season)
Dahlin on pace for 5 goals? Botts fault? |

And for Risto. He's reached him as well, it seems.
Hopefully Mitts learns a lot down there. |

What do you define as close? He’s scored 5 in the last 19 games. If he keeps the pace from the last 20 games, that’s on pace for 10 in the last forty.
Are we going to get to the end of the year and say that Vesey only scored 15 goals instead of 17 and those two goals would have made the difference? Botts was expecting so much more? Is 15 not close to 17? |

Or maybe you’re just a very unlikeable narcissist who loves to put people down.

Eehhh. Malkin is a true center... you are moving Malkin to the wing to play with Sid.

so he scored 6 in his last 22 games, which means he could score 12 more in 39 games
not a stretch |

How about Eichel on pace for more than 50 when he has never scored 30. How about all of Olofsson’s production. These things even out. How hard are you searching to try to find ways to defend Botts?
Every season some players produce over expectations and some produce under. That’s the nature of the beast.
Between Eichel and Olofsson we will have 40 to 50 goals that weren’t expected. And you guys are adding up a few expected but not produced goals here and there by players like Skinner, Sheary, Vesey, Erod and Dahlin to defend the GM.

My point is that plenty of teams have star players on their second line when they are better than the players on the top line. Chicago has no winger better than Kane and he plays on the second line. Pittsburgh may be a bad example because they are both centers. |

I hope he gets 15 that would be great, but did anyone expect him to go 21 games without a goal. |

Update: We are currently in the interviewing mode for Pachla's replacement. Thx for your patience. - CaptEO
Hey bud, just don't go trying to put a sheriff in this here Wild Wild West, we police ourselves and aside from a jerk or two, I think we do a pretty good job.
Even when a few of us hot-headed types go off on people, it's just talking poop. It's a Buffalo thing, honestly. Most of it is in good fun.

Not at all, and it would sure help, but it could just as easy as him going another 21 games without a goal, I am just saying who expected him to take 21 games to score his first goal |

I think he has played great. He has been In a pretty limited defensive role all season and was a bit snake bitten at first. |

Our Opponents are very tough - hubie
As in Mike Evans, from Tampa Bay?
You do that trade 8 days a week are you serious? Dude is just entering his prime and we won't find a WR in the draft or FA that is anywhere close to him. If we are considering taking a WR in the 1st round and Tampa Bay is okay with this, I ask them if they like lube with their anal? |

I see the point and those teams just have better depth. I’d like to see skinner back with jack. It was fought seeing skinner with erod.
With that mojo has looked better the last couple games. Maybe skinner, mojo, new guy, can do something?!? |
