Well, I would never compare Olofsson to Ovechkin...

But it's worked down in D.C. for going on 15 years now and Olofsson has an invisible shot that even modern HD cameras can't even detect, so maybe he needs better set-up men because it can't just be Eichel whipping it across the ice constantly.

He won't sniff more than 3 million per on a 1 year deal

If he manages 20, he might get a 4x4 but he's going to end up being another Lee Stempniak, imo, which isn't such a bad thing.

He hit a wall after the first 15 games, however he still had the 2nd best corsi of all Sabres d-men last year behind Montour.

He positively impacts the game on both ends of the ice. He also has played another half season of professional hockey in Rochester this year and leads all AHL d-men in PPG.

I’m not saying he’s Bobby Orr, but he’s definitely a #5 d-man with the possibility of becoming a good #4 at the NHL level.

Considering Risto gets caved in regularly, those are really good numbers for the Pilut-Risto pairing from last season.

Sheary averaged 20 goals the 2 seasons prior coming here, Vesey averaged17 the 3 seasons before coming here, Mojo was hurt for a bit but has averaged 45pts per season. They all had proven production, yes rolls change.

I see about as much growth from him behind the bench as I saw with pull up casey

I think it will be in the 3.5 mil range, could be 4 mil if he gets close to 20 goals and the market is thin
