In a time that we need points to have a hope of competing in April, I don't want to take a massive swing for an inevitable miss.

Because I'd rather Bogo simply not play (the league knows precisely what he is) and have Dahlin play with someone who makes each of them better, instead of throwing Bogo out there to be at best satisfactory.

Bogo isn't playing nearly the same as he was last year. Bogo is a shell of his former self, and likely isn't playing incredibly inspired since he's asked to be moved.

I don't see how a player who is less than 80% of what he was last year will equate to similar results.

logic dictates the sabres need to continue to show an established players ability because professional scouts and organizations don't know his capabilities.
