Market price for what? Bobrovsky just signed for 7 years $70m at the same age Holtby will be when he signs his next deal. And that contract was in Florida with no state income tax. Holtby won't get less than $8m per for probably 5 years at least. Only way I see him taking less is if he takes a team friendly deal to stay in Washington.

any GM that signs a goalie for 10 M and that length again is an idiot. Goalies should be 6 mil or less and on 3 year or less contracts. one hip or groin injury and they are useless ask scheinder and rick dipietro about it..
