Realistically our forward prospect ranks arent great anyway. We SHOULD be trading d prospects for forwards. Unless we're gonna play 12 d men a night

You still need a pipeline to fill in the backend. Or you end up right where we are today once players need to get paid.

Guys like 6k, Borgen, Roustilian, Samuelson Asplund, The d man overseas Lakkesan?)... should be filling in the back half of the roster.

You might be able to give up a little, mitts, a d prospect, lotto protected first. Etc... but to wipe the pipeline again is going to hurt down the road.

Granted, domi gives us that edge on the forward group. So I could bend on giving mitts and one of them (Samuelson or Borgen). But I’d start with a counter of Pilut and see what they say...

and its not liek we are asking for real nhl players my age

we are asking for guys coming into their prime.

Hurting down the line GTFO....... Hurting is the 5K every year for Sobotka on my 2nd line and having to watch Bogo et al bog down the back end
