At least Jack Eichel looks like he'll break his single season record of 82 points. Whoopie.... he's finally outpaced Derek Roy. Meanwhile, the evidence continues to come in that no player is worth throwing a season away. Since we tanked for this savior, we've had to tank (unintentionally this time) for another savior who gives us an average 20 minutes a night at best, but he's 19 so that obviously means he'll win the Norris when he's 23.

Abject, pathetic failures operating out of FNC. Let's call up the English Premier League to see if we can get Jose Mourinho to coach next year! Let's draft more 12-year kids like Casey Mittelstadt and wonder why they can't play against men. Let's run Evander Kane out of town because we don't need him. What a GD joke this franchise is.

We've been sold a bag of beans, when it's a bag of poop for years.

If we didn't have Jack on this team, we may only have 3 wins. Regardless of the effort, or lack thereof to get him, I'm still glad Jack is a Sabre. As long as we don't lose him because of inept management, he's the only bright spot this year.

IN all fairness it took them less than 5 mins to score in the 1st with a goalie in there.

botts, kruger, and about 10 guys in the locker room are to blame for another lost season

I am beginning to believe the culture of losing over the past decade has infected the locker room like a cancer...they may need to move some guys out, cutting into some muscle to rid the organization of it all.

We have heard from several former players about the disfunction in the org and the negative impact it has had on them...there is some smoke there for there not to be a fire of some degree.

I have been saying this about the culture in this organization for 2 years now and everyone thought I was nuts.... Yes they may need to move some of their alleged talent in order to rectify the situation...

Ray, stop. Give me a break. He's a 19 year old dman who might have some bad shifts or even bad game but to say he sucks might be the dumbest (frank)ing thing I have ever read here. He needs to be better defensively but the kid is a (frank)ing stud. The dude is gonna be a star. What's wrong with thinking that he has a great future. I don't.

I wouldn't trust Botts making a deal at my kids lunch table even if he had a Bag full of candy and an endless supply of chicken nuggets

It seems guys who come to the Sabres fall-off a cliff production wise.
Yes, players play better with better players, no doubt, and they need more better players.
Yet, I would expect more out of the additions than what we have seen. Seems they all need someone else to be the driver from which they benefit.
When do they acquire actual drivers to uplift those around them?
