I said it would be a PR disaster for Pegula to make another change however, can both Botterill and Kruger and hire Laviolette . This is just not right as to what has been going with this team.

You hire the guy that is a proven NHL coach and stanley cup winner in Laviolette. If you just take a step back and go over everything since Pegula bought this team you will see something is a miss. Either staffing or coaching or something, there is a major problem here because no team continue to keep regressing year after year and coach after coach and GM after GM.

For how much Murray failed as a GM this team is worse, and we are going on to Botts 4th draft soon. If the plan was to continue to tank for 4 years, Risto should of been traded, Skinner shouldn’t have been signed, wtf are we trading for frolik. We suck yet are up against the cap.

Hell at this point I’m ready to trade Eichel and Reinhart. try to get the top 3 players in this draft and restart again with a new GM and cap space.

Always liked him. Wonder why didn’t work out for him in Nash. Would like to see a proven coach here. Then again had bylsma who was a winner, albeit not the resume of Lavie. Seems the issues here are deeper than just coach and GM

I'm still more inclined to think this is a roster construction problem rather than a coaching problem.

FFS we traded a first for Montour and he's played more than 1 game at forward because we dont have enough quality - and that was BEFORE the Skinner and Olofsson injuries
