Yeah, IF you play good defense, that usually means you're running more. They feed into each other. And IF you do both well you can win. The problem comes when you need to score 21+ points because your defense threw up all over itself. You can't run your way out of that.

It’s working for the Titans and 49ers so far don’t you think ?

Did Kirk Cousins beat Drew Brees or did the fact that Dalvin Cook having 130 yards play a huge role in that game ?

The 49ers then held Cook to nothing in The divisional round and the Vikings ended up with 7 first downs that game. 49ers ran for 150 in that game if I’m not mistaken.

Tannehill has 160 yards passing through 2 games but made the plays he needed to. They played strong defence and rode Henry to the tune of back to back 180 yards+ games.

There are tons of ways to win in football. Go over this every year. TENN is known for a great rushing game and a great defense. Saying Baltimore lost with those too doesn’t strengthen the point, they had the “elite@ qb and lost

Is he an elite QB or just an elite athlete? You would think being an elite QB would put him higher than 22nd in the league in passing yards. Tannehill finished the season with a higher completion %, more yards per game passing and a higher rating. Does that make him elite as well?

Laviolette who was just fired coaching better players than the Sabres have and had a worse PK, worse PP and worse SV% and are only two points better? Why, because he won the Cup 15 years ago? Great, he won 637 games. He also loss 548. That equates to about 5 more wins than losses each year over his 18 year career. In 18 years he finished 1st in his division 4 times. Bylsma and Babcock both had a Cup win too and both had better winning percentages too.
