Quite a few guys playing tonight that the Bills could be looking at drafting

On Clemson:
LB Isaiah Simmonds R1, doubt get falls to us
WR Tee Higgins R1, looks like a good option
RB Travis Etienne R2, kid makes plays, period
CB- AJ Terrell R2, rough night, but good player
G- John Simpson R2, don’t wanna go OL early

On LSU:
S Grant Delpit R1, stud playmaker, doubt he’d fall
CB Kristian Fulton R1, not sold on him that high
DE K'Lavon Chiasson R1/R2, maybe if he falls in R2
DT Rashard Lawrence R2, maybe if we lose Phillips

Some of these guys could move up or down a bit, depending on tonight & the combine

If we are looking for offensive playmakers,
Higgins in R1 & Etienne in R2 could be big helps

If I were Botts I would be looking at offer sheeting Anthony Cirelli from Tampa Bay. I would offer him three years at 4,227,000 and stay in the tier of a second round pick as compensation.

Tampa has salary cap problems coming up with a big raise to their goalie and a lot of highly paid forwards. They will have no space to pay him that. They could match the offer sheet and try to trade him or someone else to open up cap space, but it’s worth a shot.

I can't imagine a scenario where JB offer sheets anyone, even though it would be a good idea.

I think we all agree with this but who would they want from us? Risto isn’t going anywhere

Think everyone knows it's not going to happen. That's the only tier of offer we could make, other than No Comp or 4 Firsts. Just another reason it will never happen.

I am really happy that burrows is going to the Bengals. If he went to the dolphins. Our division would be insanely hard.

I don’t think tua is great. So hopefully the dolphins draft him

but great idea

It's very difficult to imagine JB making any dramatic move this offseason. He seems very committed to bringing back who he has and letting prospects develop. Perhaps a modest free agent could be brought in but an offer sheet is a pipe dream.

Either way I’d be all over trying to trade for him. Or another center off their roster.

Sure! It's a great idea. Don't see Botterill doing anything like it though. He's going to wait for his draft picks.

Part of me agrees with that, but with the number of UFA's, it feels like we're moving to the next stage.

Remember being told i was wrong for saying we made a mistake not trading for Gusev
Hmmmmm.....

https://mynhltraderumors....tar-selection/2020/01/13/

The 27-year-old Russian winger’s play was admittedly a little patchy out of the gate but he’s flourished big-time since finding a full-time home on a line with Travis Zajac and Blake Coleman.

Gusev leads the Devils in assists (19) and is tied for 3rd in points (27). Almost all of them have come at 5v5, where he’s quietly been one of the better offensive players in the league.
No, seriously.

He has amassed 22 points at 5v5. That ties him for 45th among forwards, ahead of stars like Alex Ovechkin, Blake Wheeler, Johnny Gaudreau, Sebastian Aho, John Tavares and Taylor Hall.

His efficiency numbers are somehow even better. Gusev is averaging 2.88 points per 60 minutes played, 8th most in the NHL.

Wasn't thrilled with how it went down, but if that's the game Tkachuk wants to play he better be prepared and willing to throw down when someone has had enough

Then your problem shouldn’t be with HB posters, it should be with Botts for not getting him.

I am hurt.

Tacos are their own category.

Burgers are a different category.

We can all coexist.

Botts needed that 4th round pick though to acquire Frolik 🙄
