Yes.
They need an outside threat. I've seen Higgins' name linked to the Bills in a lot of places...which means there is a 0% chance they draft him. - buffalofan19
Ed Oliver was heavily linked to Buffalo.
This isn't FootballBuzz with Eggland. |

I have to be honest. The only names here I would be upset with are Phillips and Spain. Although, Harrison Phillips' return would soften the blow of a Jordan departure.
Shaq Lawson played himself into a contract he'll never be able to live up to. - buffalofan19
Joe did a nice job breaking these situations down. |

Bum.... lol
Feel that a good one or two could fall into the 2nd. The good news is the player doesnt have to be out leading WR, just having the option there is goign to help |

Guys picked ahead of Michael Thomas. Laquan Treadwell, Corey Coleman, Will Fuller, Josh Doctson, Sterling Shepard.
Cool
Beane is 0/0 with Day 1 and 2 WRs. Let's hope he goes 1/1. |

So far, I think Beane has earned the benefit of the doubt no matter what he does here (within reason, of course). If they go receiver Day 2 instead of 1, I don't think I will be too upset unless it's a name out of nowhere. |

Treadwell was a freaking beast i still cant believe that one.
With Coleman and Doctson I feel like those fast guys never had to learn how to run routes and work the position |

I've probably jinxed this.
"Beane will draft a big receiver in rounds 1 or 2" is the new "Botterill will trade for a 2nd line center in the summer". |

Those would both be trades that I would probably feel better about when I woke up the morning after day 1...because I most likely would be drunk at a day 1 draft party. |

very true
im on the fence about the 1st like i know we need OL but next years class of OL is amazing. We can find a guy in free agency for a stop gap.
BUt then i dont want to draft a DE/LB/CB in the 1st |

Beane Hits/Misses over 2 years, based on draft position:
1. Josh Allen-hit
1. Tremaine Edmunds-hit
3. Harrison Phillips-hit
4. Taron Johnson-hit
5. Siran Neal-hit
5. Wyatt Teller-hit (starts for Browns)
6. Ray-Ray McCloud-hit (special teams)
7. Austin Proehl-miss
1. Ed Oliver-hit
2. Cody Ford-hit
3. Devin Singletary-hit
3. Dawson Knox-hit
5. Vosean Joseph-INC
6. Jaquan johnson-INC
7. Darryl Johnson Jr.-INC
7.Tommy Sweeney-INC
Too early to say for 2019 class, but so far, Beane's only had one clear miss. The second last pick of the 2018 draft. When you do any two year sample of Doug Whaley's draft, it's embarrassing and hilarious.
2015:
2. Ronald Darby-hit
3. John Miller-hit, but bad
5. Karlos Williams-miss
6. Tony Steward-miss
6. Nick O'Leary-hit
7. Dezmin Lewis-miss
2016:
1. Shaq Lawson-miss, considering it took 4 years for him to be good. But eventual hit.
2. Reggie Ragland-huge miss, considering how much he plays and how much we gave up for him.
3. Adolphus Washington-miss
4. Cardale Jones-lol
5. Jonathan Williams-miss
6. Kolby Listenbee-miss
6. Kevon Seymour-miss
Third year, 2014, bonus round
1. Sammy Watkins-Whaley got KO'd
2. Cyrus Kouandjio-miss
3. Preston Brown-hit
4. Ross Cockrell-miss
5. Cyril Richardson-miss
7. Randall Johnson-miss
7. Seantrel Henderson-tough one. Based on ability and draft position, this was a huge hit. It'd be a real hit if he wasn't so medically challenged.
Once Whaley was paired with McDermott, the results were, unsurprisingly, something in between Beane and Whaley. And yes, I realize McDermott was a co-GM during the 2017 draft.
1. Tre White-HIT
2. Zay Jones-Swing and miss based on position and compensation
2. Dion Dawkins-hit
5. Matt Milano-HIT
The rest of the draft wasn't recorded so we don't know what came after Milano.

I can live with a DE, especially if Lawson walks. - buffalofan19
Thats where I would be big on the trade back
Everyone loves the Penn St kid and will be long gone
so guys like raequan davis or Epenesa (Iowa) are nice btu Id rather accumulate assests |

I really wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills trade out of the first round. But it's definitely uncharacteristic of Beane. I think he does it if he sees similar talent in the 2nd than late 1st. WR as of late seems to be a very challenging position for GMs to find and draft correctly. Beane's propensity to find smart, hard workers (not simply the most talented) has really paid off. |

The Capitals organization said they want both to retire with the team and transition into management roles of some type. Ovi will play until he hits 900 goals, he will be like Jagr. I hope he breaks the record. - BeadyEyedDouche
Barring a drop off of his .608 gpg he needs roughly 4 more seasons to break the record. He’s also never had a major injury.
My guess is it takes him 6 more seasons.

Guy plays a hard game. I'd be very impressed to see him cruise through the next 3-4 seasons without getting broken a bunch. Basically all power forwards his age have injury problems. And they've all severely declined in productivity. |

are they being drafted correctly but have bad qb's?
