I don't recall anyone here thinking 2Cs are unmovable. True 1Cs moving in trades are unicorn events. I don't consider any centers in Nashville as 1Cs. Seguin was your unicorn event, because Chiarellol - TheSabresTaco
The argument is 2C(+) don't get moved.
It is false.
That's it, pure and simple.
No twisting, spining, nor justification is needed. |

Year after year we talk about how great our drafted center will be and yet they never came.
So he may be more like Moses

As I enjoy the joke, I'm by no means guaranteeing the kid's success. However, his game resembles the other guy's. Like, a lot. |

The Salary isn't an issue for me, it is the acquisition cost of Cozens.
Now, that said, having a young cost controlled player who could develop into a 2C would be great |

For those pondering about Lazar and his individual impacts, this was written last week. https://www.diebytheblade...buffalo-sabres-bottom-six
What this tells me is that he's definitely exceeding expectations and is a helpful player to the bot 6. Doesn't address the scoring, really, but he provides more than enough for 700K. |

It was included in my original post, and other Botts sac-lickers (I just love that phrase, gotta use it more often ), have consistently used the " but who has moved their 2C, or who is moving their 2c" .
Just posting facts, I probably get banned for it. |

There is a laundry list of centers drafted by this organization who were goign to be top 6 centers which never panned out. I would rather have what I know is one then flip a coin again and again |

To answer your question, I would for Johansen. I wouldn't for Duchene. |

His shot is lethal, capable of scoring from a lot of different areas of the ice. Has vision and creativity, and is adept at playmaking. Also owns pretty good size. Can make a major offensive impact in the NHL.
offensive forward with a strong scoring touch. Possesses quick hands with excellent puck control and can outplay defenseman in tight space.
has great hands and an even better shot with a pro-calibre release and pin-point accuracy. If he can continue to improve his skating, his style is somewhat comparable to Evgeni Malkin.
His potential is a franchise player and possibly an elite star in the NHL.
Interesting how scouts talk about a guy and then fast forward we are hoping to deal Bog straight up for.
Like I said I want what is and not what it may be |

I agree
at first I was ok with both then looked into MD more and ill only take Ryjo
His passing ability with Skinner I think would be a deadly 2nd line
not to mention take pressure off a guy like Mitts |

Point really seems to have impressed a lot of people in the scouting community throughout the year which suggests that he is skilled and consistent. Intelligence, can play in all 3 zones, and can finish around the net - no wonder he put up a ton of points this season and improved his draft stock.
Amongst the various rankings Point is the 31st ranked North American skater by Central Scouting and 17th ranked prospect by TSN's Craig Button.
4th Round.

I hear you loud and clear and generally agree with you. I think Cozens is different as he is posting great numbers and can play RW while he transitions his game to the NHL.
Now if we used Mitts and Tage + ; I'd be all over it.
Just not Cozens |

Why does Eichel always skate by his teammates after a goal when they are trying to high 5 him? |
