Reinhart > Ryan Johansen
RyJo is overrated
Was supposed to be the missing piece for Nashville
Didn’t get the job done
So then they went & got Duchene
Still not enough
Two overrated & overpaid players
No thanks to both
Especially for Cozens
That’s laughable - jdfitz77
Youre entitled to your opinion, but not wanting Ryjo passing the puck to Skinner or VO would be even more laughable |

My opinion, but of course those numbers will start to look better when he's not the opposing teams number one attraction. Jack and VO or RyJo and Skinner, pick your poison type. Your assumption is that Cozens doesn't pull another Mitts and Mitts actually figures it out (both very well could happen, but are far from certain.) - SDSabre
I would guess playing with Skinner his numbers would not change much. Skinner's would improve, but not sure he makes his linemates better. Not sure who his linemates are usually, but they did have a few wingers scoring over 20g the last couple seasons.
Still would rather have Bonino for 1 more year at $4m than Johanson for 7 at $8m. Mostly based on cost to acquire and the potential of our prospects. |

Twisting and turning,
Spinning and justifying .
La de la de la de la.
Your narrative is false.
Take the L and move along. - IonSabres
No, it’s not
Kadri was the ONLY 2C that got moved this past year
Going back to 2016 when we weren’t looking for a 2C is ridiculous
Trying to say that some of the guys u listed are “2Cs” is ridiculous
And some of the others don’t even play Center!
Your argument is garbage |

So is trying to “quick fix” the Sabres
Great, we add RyJo, lose Sam,
and still get thumped by Boston or Tampa
Great job |

Mind Blown
Ryjo with Skinner he continues to put up 40 annually.
With that top 6 this team makes the playoffs every year. |

all assumptions
But keep playing the wait and hope that a draft pick comes though.
Id hate to live in a world where you dont want to see your team in the playoffs, I know im sick of it
You know cause teams who acquire a top 6 center never win the cup right? |

If we can all stop pretending that we're a 2C away from being a great team, that would help this message board. |

Twisting and...
4 on average per year, no cherry picking 1 year, rather using a reasonable, recent sample size.
Aren't you the one trailing on others for cherry picking.
Botts has needed a 2c for 2 seasons.
Not paying enough to secure such a vital position of need when having 12 NHL Dmen and 6 RW's is just piss poor.
Stop with the false narrative.
Not everything Botts does is right. |

out of curiosity lets say we had a real 2C to start the year how many wins would you think that would have given them? |

I get your line of thinking, but idk that it’s true
Arvidsson & Forsberg haven’t become 40goal scorers playing with him
I don’t think he has the same effect/results as playing with Eichel |

What Sabre had 5 assists against NJ in an 8-8 tie on this day in 1992?
Nothing wrong with ties BTW |

How’s Nashville been with him?
Has he taken them to the next level?
Gotten them over the hump?
Improved the players around him?
