I honestly didn't. They got manhandled 5-on-5 versus Canada and let the Czechs hang around for too long. They did play a good game against Russia though, who curbstomped Canada.

i'm going to the game in Houston to keep my mind occupied, but it's tough to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

I missed the Canada game due to the holidays and being with family. But the other 2 games they seemed fine plus they had Spencer knight starting in net. He’s great.

They’ve legitimately been better than Boston and Toronto in a better part of the 6 games against them this year.

They aren’t getting the doors blown off like all of post November last season

The tank team got 54 points in 82 games. This team has 41 in 41 (not great by any means, but on pace to be 28 points higher). Cherry picking stats doesn't prove any point. Unless of course you are a December to December guy.

He's right.. past 10 games, I think we've outperformed our record. They should be shot for the NYE game, but most of the other ones, they've been solid. Ya know, for a middle 10 team, which they hope to be.

IMO this statement kinda sounds like we should give the Sabres a Participation trophy.
