I know how good he can be, and what he did, wish he wasn't hurt. But am tired of hearing about who he played with, cause he was still getting quality chances even during his slump.

Man... watch the games... Besides Eichel and VO every damn Sabre forward is missing on golden chances.... I love how people jump all over Skinner just because he is supposed to score... These are professional players right? Shouldn't they all be able to bury golden chances?

I wonder if this blog will remain on the front page indefinitely and if so, how many comments/pages will it generate. Gonna set records...smooth move Pach... even in absence your blog will be the most visited.

He generates a lot of his own chances. It was why I didn't mind him going down a line, to spread scoring.

But can't argue he'd have a half dozen more goals if he was playing with Jack.

Kinda get it both ways.

He generates a lot of his own chances. It was why I didn't mind him going down a line, to spread scoring.

Skinner will play with Jack when he returns in a few weeks. Hopefully.

Skinner scores 20-30 goals in his sleep ...... trust me. We will miss his goals.

Not to mention this year, His centers have been awful.

He's not a sniper, really. He tends to get it done on volume more than on being deadly accurate. Creates a ton of chances, but a career 11% shooting percentage isn't anything special, he just shoots a LOT. Which, again, IS a good skill on it's own.

There's zero motivation for a player (an unsigned vet, like Vanek, Pommer etc.) to sign a contract for a few weeks to get waived. If they wanted to play in the AHL, they'd sign those deals.
