I seems to me that saying "Why did they put so much on our young QB?", and then in the next breath saying "Why didn't they give it to our rookie RB more?" might be slightly hypocritical. Not that I really care. I'm a Falcons fan.

a few quick takes

every time gore goes on the field, the drive stalls

houston got zero holding penalties

bills d did too much bend don't break with the deep cover in the last 25 minutes of the game

sloppy tackling in the last 25 minutes

poor play calls

o line broke down at the worst time, again

and buffalo luck

allen should have ran more in the second half

and beasley and knox should have been more involved in the passing game

instead we have blocking te's trying to cover pass rushers and all that leads to is dumb penalties

if you want an extra blocker, put a reserve tackle out there

Lol, you see things on Panthers forums like,
"Our 2C is killing us." "The GM is clueless." "We need a better 2C." "They need to shake things up." "We need a change at GM." "This team is so soft!" and, of course, there's the
"Do something, Dale!"

Trocheck is still finding his way back after broken ankle last year and foot injury this year. His skating isn't yet what it was and his whole game stems from there. They're not moving him, as they have no one who they could rely on to play in his spot. Hoffman may be another story, a ufa that I don't think they will re-sign. His main contribution is on the PP, and while no one else has that wicked shot like Hoff, they have other PP weapons. He can't hit the broad side of a barn right now, anyway. The scattergun shot, his giveaway "passes" added together with his rather untenacious style has many fans down on him now. They may see what defensive help they can get for him, idk.

- Ratsreign

The Sabres would settle for a true 2C with a pulse at this point LOL

I understand that posts like I referenced are just knee jerk angry and frustrated reactions (that's what the internet is for, instead of yelling at the TV). I'm just glad the same mentality doesn't apply to all of our day jobs. If it did, most of us would be out of work or suffering from anxiety.

I keep going back to allowing a 3rd and 18 conversion on a check down throw.

Saw that just in the highlights multiple times in the 2nd half.

What bothers me is it seems the “we had the easiest schedule” was always used to criticize Allen and the offense, yet never used as a reason to be skeptical of the defense.

They flat out collapsed. Allen made some boneheaded plays, but yet again, put one on the money for Duke Williams to end the half and we couldn’t get a great catch when we needed it. Would’ve put us 17 nothing and 3 scores makes the Texans 100-% one dimensional

Get a power running back like Jordan Howard or go big on Henry and get a big time WR

Don’t forget the deep ball to the fullback. What. Was. That. And while I like duke, wasn’t he a healthy scratch for weeks. Too much forcing to duke instead of getting Knox or Beasley involved in the middle, like you said.

Also, true with gore. Love the guy but miss used. Wasn’t it the end of half where they could have had a touchdown but they wasted time and ran gore for some odd reason. He may be a better blocker?!? But then change the look up. Have they used any two back sets at all? Motion Singletary out?!? Something?

And they got away from Singletary too much in the second half....

Solid season and great foundation for next year when the schedule is gonna be much harder...

The radio crew was crushing the Bills in the 2nd half for not running routes over the middle and for not getting receivers open.

Allen made mistakes, he definitely needs to improve in area's, Singletary should have been running the ball down there throats, he was a bull yesterday, in no way should Allen have thrown the ball 46 times. And the defense played a good game, but you can't allow that 3rd down conversion and both 2pt conversion.
- Buff36

He threw 46 times because Houston's secondary isn't very good.

I mean, if you're going to trade Dahlin, go for Gretzky lol.

Sabres hav exactly 2 core players; Eichel and Dahlin, trade Dahlin, might as well trade Jack and be done with it all.

Most 17 year olds do. Mackinnon had 1 point at this tournament once upon a time.

Malkin isn’t really in our window and dahlin has been touted as generational. Bad. Idea. You do not give up that cornerstone for YEARS! For a win now. You could put any combo of picks and prospects on the table. Stay away from Jack, Dahlin, Cozens and 6k...

It was a nice goal. I hope his knee is okay. He missed a shift or 2 to end the 3rd

It’s a shame cause he would of potted a 2nd goal on that shift if he didn’t have to go off.

Foote being a left handed in the slot had to try and backhand the rebound and that would have been right in Cozens’ wheelhouse.
