Doubt you're wrong, unfortunately. Think we see this.

Asplund-Eichel-Reinhart
Sheary-Johansson-Frolik
Girgensons-Larsson-Okposo
Vesey-Lazar-Wilson

- TheSabresTaco

Id play the Vesey/lazers line 3rd

I like Vesey, but we can let someone else over pay him.
- Pegullaville

Agree and disagree. If he is willing to stay here for say 2.5 or 3 for a couple years I’m game on him

98 points should get in the playoffs
45 current points
39 games left
53 points needed in 39 games.
6-3-1 per 10 game stretch.

I mean, he has stood out recently on the pk and has looked better... I’m not sure how to break down the per player evaluation of the unit... I’m not that good with fancy stats. Just what I’ve been seeing...

I dont know enough about PK strategy to know why we suck at it. Is it personnel or strategy or both? No idea

Even if this is true, I don't understand why it's any problem whatsoever.

He's not as bland and indistinguishable as Mark Pysyk, but he's very easily replaced.

I blame the Sabres but different reasons.

Acquiring Vesey was always a catch 22. He needs to score x amount of goals to outweigh play without the puck but giving him such a role would make the team worse off.

I didn't mind the move, was a good option in case Olofsson didn't work out in the top 6. Would be much better if we had internal options, like CJ Smith or the long run of AHL guys before him.

I hated it cause there were several forwards available in FA that could provide a better overall impact but they had to go add his cap hit and pay a 3rd rounder for it.

Not back breaking but the kind of bad asset management that if it occurs regularly can really hurt a team.

It’s a 3rd rounder for a 1 year rental who happens to be friends with the frustrated captain.

It’s really nothing on the scale of good or bad asset management

captains frustrated because the team is bad. idk there were better players out there and on waivers. 3rd could have been part of another trade. Just keeping the pick as a lottery ticket may even have been useful

Agree, send him packing before the deadline and get that elusive 6th round pick, which is basically a 5th and almost a 4th!

Hommie saying Vesey won’t want to resign because Ralph hasn’t played him high enough in the lineup...

I heard they talked a month a so ago, money will be the question as usual. Reinhart and Dahlin are his biggest concerns now.
