Second goal he was floating and not attempting to back check and 3rd was an empty netter. Already 22 years old and we ruined his development already. Heck, we can't even hit on our undrafted free agents.

He could, because having him here allows them to move other guys. It's easier to move a Sheary, Larsson or Girgs knowing you have Frolik here. It's not unreasonable to think one of those guys may have more value depending on a team's need and salary situation.

Who's throwing in the towel? As you said, different fans with different opinions, it certainly applies to this board.
I see the vast majority of posters who are passionate about the Sabres with a strong desire to see them playing good hockey. Some wear rose colored glasses, others see lost opportunities and are vocal...but all want the samething.

Why complain about Botterill 50 times a day for months about trading a defenseman for a forward, then botts basically trades scandella for frolic.

And you wish they kept the pick now?

You just like to complain.
Or maybe you dont like to complain, but it's your personality and you can't help it?

This isnt a Stanley cup caliber team.

Here is part of the problem... Pegula buys the team and boldly announces the goal is to win the cup in 5 years...... This built up the expectations of many of us "OG Old Guys" who have been waiting so long. Now we see another 5 or 10 year wait until MAYBE it really happens. It is called frustration and this forum is where many of us vent..... Cut some frigging slack here...
