The Sabres might be getting rid of dead weight in the offseason and have some cap space but they have little trade capital; free agency is usually lame. The top players re-sign, the next level or two seldom want to look the Sabres' way so they might get some more scrubs. Their few prospects will not be ready to carry the load. I'm not too sure whatever plan JB might have.

I won’t argue that

“Ullmark: -8.22 goals saved above expected

Hutton: -8.07 goals saved above expected

Given that Ullmark has played more, Hutton has been worse on a rate basis but neither of them have been good behind what is generally a solid defensive team”

Well I mean it would have helped if Yakupov wasn’t a bust and they didn’t give away Hall for nothing. Also would of helped if they didn’t trade a first rounder (Barzal) for Griffin Reinhart.

The only thing stopping tanking from being a success is ineffective management.

I think I might've seen that. The main character was big Rush fan and played bass. I only remember because of the Rush references/songs in the movie.

Daboll is one of three current offensive coordinators on the team’s short list of preferred candidates to replace Freddie Kitchens, who was fired on Dec. 29th after going 6-10 in his one season and extending the Browns’ playoff drought to 17 seasons.

Daboll joins New England Patriots’ offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Minnesota Vikings’ offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski atop the Browns list of candidates.

Id have mixed feelings if Daboll left. On the one hand, consistency might be helpful to Josh. On the other hand, I’m not sure how good of an OC he is.
