That's what I mean. Name a popular rock group right now. Muse? If the HOF only inducted rock, right now they would have bands to choose from that the public at large doesn't give a poop about.

To quote a biggie song: "it's all about the benjamins"

Definitely true for the HOF

But its fair to say

Cozens> this years 1?

- hubie

Sure
But my point is more
Scheifele > RyJo

I just don’t like RyJo
If u said Cozens for McDavid, this all changes
It’s not about trading Cozens
He isn’t untouchable
But it is about who u get in return

Since 1986, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has been honoring artists in the rock, blues, soul and even country music genres. Since 2007, the museum has been adding hip-hop artists to their prestigious Hall of Fame inductions.

Currently, only six hip-hop acts have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run-DMC, the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, N.W.A and Tupac Shakur.

In 2007, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five became the first rappers to be inducted into the Hall. The museum couldn't have made a better first choice. The South Bronx group are the embodiment of hip-hop culture. Two years later, Run-DMC, the trio brought hip-hop to the suburbs thanks to their rap-rock version of Aerosmith's "Walk This Way," was ushered in.

Neither or R&B, or Soul, or Blues, or Jazz, or Funk, or “Folk” and so forth

Kinda sounds like u just don’t like rap 89

U can’t argue to keep one genre out & not the rest
Makes no sense

- jdfitz77

I don't like rap, never have and it has no business in the ROR hall of fame and not because I don't listen or don't like it.

Johnny Cash is rock, better check your history.
- SABRES 89

No, he’s country & folk
Not even close to rock

We can stop though, i get it
U just don’t like hip hop
That’s fine
Just inconsistent to not want a genre in that YOU don’t like and allow other genres that aren’t “rock” in

You can't read very well can you, I said I don't think rap belongs in the hall and it's NOT because I don't like it or listen to it.

Wait, we are trading Cozens now ?
- SABRES 89

Nope. I don't encourage you to backread, but I posed the question this morning, as a hypothetical

Would you trade Dylan Cozens for Ryan Johanson or Matt Duchene.

Me, I would say no. But some here disagree and say yes.

NFL Media's Mike Garafolo reports former Cowboys coach Jason Garrett is interviewing for the Giants vacant offensive coordinator job today.
Garrett is no longer under contract with Dallas, so he's free to seek coaching opportunities. Giants coach Joe Judge will be picking his own coaching staff and Garrett's experience may be intriguing given his own lack of experience. Garrett, however, would be an uninspiring offensive coordinator after many average seasons with a talented roster. The Giants have a lot of skill-position talent around Daniel Jones, but they need to get this offensive coordinator hire right.

Why ? is my question.

The Cowboys gave this as clown more respect then they did Tom Landry.

I think De La Soul and Gorrilaz should be in strictly as a parallel to that. Ima let Aerosmith finish, but "Feel Good, Inc." is one of the best crossovers of ALL TIME

And that’s all good
RyJo isn’t the “fix” we need to become contenders though
And not at the price of Cozens
That’s what’s been debated

And u posting guys like Bonino & Eller as 2Cs is just nuts when we are all if about what Botts supposedly could’ve done

- jdfitz77

Bonino is a 2-1/2C ... TOI is about 45 - 60 seconds less than Duchy and Ryjo, although historically his production is lower, it is the exact same as Ryjo this year, their "2C", so I included him as a valid 2C option. The top 65 Center producers from last season formed the list to start from.
I stand by my down and dirty work for a HB post.

I would add that his TOI is nearly identical to Skinner's this year.

Honestly, what do the Giants have to lose. A lot of coaches have a lot more success stepping back into a coordinator roll. Look at Leslie Frasier, Josh McDaniels, Mike Pettine, Jim Schwartz, Chuck Pagano..

I do feel that the ship was righted with McDermott/Frazier, but losing him is what really hurt this franchise after 2014.

Though, he probably was going to be out no matter who they hired as a head coach since he would have been bypassed.

Does Gallant still coach the Allstar game? Also, does he move to the top of the list for Seattle?

On another note, I see the Sabres start Dad's trip. Dallas and Nashville. If we can get 3-4 points it would be a very successful trip. Follow that up with 10 days off and 5 home games and we could be right back in the hunt.

No.
I included him as he was the last guy on the list I filtered on...top 65 C point producers from last season...from there, I looked at who was moved over the last 4 season just to get a decent sample size.
That's it.

On this team this season and next, yes he could fill in for a year or 2 as a 2C until one of Mitts or Cozens grabs it, or they trade for or sign someone else
Does he make you a Cup Contender, hell no not as a 2C.

Different strategies present themselves depending on who would be acquired to fill the 2C slot until Cozens snatches it ...
- short-term placeholders who then slide down the roster
- long-term solutions who are then traded for help elsewhere

There doesn't need to be one single way, I would strongly prefer the long-term solution myself.
