Debut album in '94. Died in '97. Big name in East coast West coast feud leading to many deaths including Tupac.
Would not consider that a Hall of Fame resume.

- adambuffalo

First of all biggie never caused Tupac's death he was killed By sugar bear and Puff Daddy killed biggie without those 2 Icons rap wouldn't be were it is now

Ok, I’ll put it this way
If Bonino is your 2C, you aren’t contending for a Cup
And i like Bonino
He’s a guy I’d like to see us get- for 3C though
I doubt Nashville would trade him though

- jdfitz77

Ya, I addressed that the page prior. But here it is again...

You really think Bonino is a 2nd line center ?
- SABRES 89

No.
I included him as he was the last guy on the list I filtered on...top 65 C point producers from last season...from there, I looked at who was moved over the last 4 season just to get a decent sample size.
That's it.

On this team this season and next, yes he could fill in for a year or 2 as a 2C until one of Mitts or Cozens grabs it, or they trade for or sign someone else
Does he make you a Cup Contender, hell no not as a 2C.

Different strategies present themselves depending on who would be acquired to fill the 2C slot until Cozens snatches it ...
- short-term placeholders who then slide down the roster

- long-term solutions who are then traded for help elsewhere

There doesn't need to be one single way, I would strongly prefer the long-term solution myself.

I know you asked 89, but my opinion is none. It's the Rock and Roll hall of fame.
- adambuffalo

Is it? The biggest band of all time, The Beatles, are not a rock band. Is Elton John? Billy Joel? The Beach Boys? BB King, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, all those Motown groups, none of which are rock and roll. It's been the "music" hall of fame for 30 plus years.

I think De La Soul and Gorrilaz should be in strictly as a parallel to that. Ima let Aerosmith finish, but "Feel Good, Inc." is one of the best crossovers of ALL TIME

Mother(frank)ing Chet Atkins is in. This is the blurb from his HOF page:

"Guitarist, songwriter, producer, talent scout, confidante - Chet Atkins, who passed away on June 30, 2001, played so many roles so well for so long that to enumerate his contributions would take more than a few pages and indeed merit a book length treatise.

To point out that he has sold more than thirty-five million albums as a solo artist, won fifteen Grammy Awards (including Lifetime Achievement) and changed the course of country music as a producer only scratches the surface of his legacy."

Bolded for emphasis.

Can’t be a long term viable contender if you don’t have a prospect pipeline you’re not pulling from every year either though.

Can't be a viable contender if you're always picking top 10 either.

Yeah, haven't really enjoyed a ton from the last year or so. There have been some good ones, but he's done a lot of big songs already.
