San Jose better figure their poop out because it’s not going to be fun when Ottawa adds two top 10 players from this draft class and Detroit adds a top 4 pick.

I kind of feel bad for everyone involved in this organization besides the Pegulas.

You guys are lucky...At least the Bills have started to figure it out.

I have to deal with being a Sabres fan AND a Jets fan...

If you're a rival gm, are YOU giving up ANYTHING for those plugs?
- Powerslave

Erod and Risto could have easily been moved this offseason.

The GM chose not to.

The GM chose to ignore the forward and tried to Darcy the Center position.

The GM added a guy who can’t score in the AHL and said here you’re on the big club now, because we need people that can punch others in the face.

The GM acquired a Dman last offseason that was his prize acquisition, who not is a healthy scratch and also wants out of here because he is not playing.

How many players have to request a trade before we start saying something ain’t right here.

When they are ones that produce, then I'll start to worry.

I still think the Jets are going to end up being okay. They had a lot of bad luck this season.

Until the focus shifts from the Bills, I doubt any questions will be asked about the under-performing team.

Jack should have a life-line to the owner to wake them up from the Sabres slumber they have been under.

And, again, Erod had enough opportunity to carve out his spot at center ice. He did not. Don't blame the gm for that.

Joker is not a healthy scratch. 😉

No, it doesn't look good for the organization. But, hey, the Bills shipped out all their malcontents and turned it around.

As much as I like Miller. He wasn't until recently.

A lot of that wasn't his fault either.

I have no patience left. I want people fired at this point too.

But I am terrified at who they hire next because it can absolutely get worse

At this point, I can only hope that he never intended on being good this year in the first place. Not that he would ever publicly admit to that.

My only problem with that is how long they stuck with Mitts up here. If they weren’t trying to win why didn’t they send him down earlier when it was apparent he hadn’t taken the next step and it wasn’t working. They had him up here as a healthy scratch. Everyone paying attention saw he wasn’t ready in October.

You can’t claim you weren’t intending on being good at the same time you are desperately forcing prospects into roles they aren’t ready for.

No, one game doesn't "prove" anything, but your hypothesis that they act as a deterrent when there were flying elbows and stick work all night is on shaky footing.

I'm soft? lol at least I don't come in here "ATTENTION LIPS: something something ERod. I know you said he should be cut, that we don't need malcontents, but that doesn't fit my narrative so I'll just spew some random poop."

Hutton not playing ...... did he request a trade too? Just spit balling. Since he hasn’t played in awhile

And I know he has been bad.

Essentially, all the extra skaters at practice have all requested trades. That is my guess

It's a situation where Botterill is going to poke his head out of his hiding place for a 5:30 appearance on the radio this afternoon. Jesus christ they better skewer him

Good post

Maybe having a 19 year old defenseman is a bit early to give up assets ect. And make a playoff push for futures

I don't believe that based on Bogosian getting right back in shortly after he publicly asked out.

Article mentioned Ristolainen, McCabe, and Pilut with the focus being on LHD.

This makes me sad. Thanks for everything, Pach. Was a pleasure and a lot of fun hanging out with you at the bar.

Will definitely miss your writing. It was consistently 'solid' and far superior, consistently, to the daily writers of the past. Just make sure you hang out in here with the rest of us rabble.
