But he’s really more of a 3rd liner


I still don’t see why we have t given Sam another shot at Center yet??

Eakin yes, Wild Bill, no chance.

Cody Glass, nope

Stastny, nope, not now they have 1 more year of him.

Stephenson, doubt it

Nosek, he is there 4th line guy.

I would say Eakin would be the odd man out, but they do like him. They could actually use Bogo but the Knights are a fast team. Bogo for Eakin would be an ok swap.

Frolic was a PKer with Calgary who has the fourth best PK in the league.

PK has been a weakness for the Sabres this year.

Frolic has size too which is lacking with our forwards.

That Olofsson injury looked bad - real bad. Best case scenario he twisted his ankle a little bit, but that looked like a bad knee injury to me.

Botts needs Cap Space and secondary scoring.

He trades Scandella for what most believed was his value, a 3rd or 4th ... from a bottom 5 team ...so a 4th "that is like a 3rd".

He takes that future asset and trades it for a Rental, who can't score, plays 4th line minutes to join the other 7 4th liners on the roster, AND he increases the Cap hit by $300k.

But, I'm just so happy for this trade....
