I would imagine he'd put up more than that here. He's basically the end product of what people bank on Reinhart's development being.

The bulk of LA's offensive chances come when he hits the ice.

Like anyone, could put up some points with Jack. If not, I don't like where he's trending.

I hate signing non-elite UFA forwards. They rarely work out.

They rarely workout because everyone gets bogged down on point totals that are usually a product of something else and not individual impact, and guys like Toffoli are overlooked.

He represents an inefficiency in the league right now, Id take advantage of that.

Edit: not saying there's no risk to it, as always with high priced ufa's, but Id take that risk on him

What are u looking at that says Toffoli is overlooked?
Seems to me that he’s just declined a bit,
and going to be overpaid as a UFA

Dahlin has been doing Dahlin things for the last few weeks. It’s been refreshing

La generates tons of chances with him on the ice, and he orchestrates most of that. And they give up fewer chances when he's out there.

Great with the puck, good without it.

Wait till he adds 15 pounds and gets more experience and the confidence to make the plays he will be capable of making when he adds that said strength. Will be a treat to watch.

I think it's far simpler. They really work out because they are around 28 and already declining.

Hate how the Sabres are playing in the 3rd. Feels like Housley hockey

He’s a good hockey player. I just would not move Mittelstadt for him at this point of time and would be weary of the contract he’s going to get in a few months.

The other piece to a potential extension is that you don't necessarily need him to be great the whole length of the deal. If you're adding him your window is sooner rather than later. You just need him to bring it during that window. The rest is cost of doing business.

Idk dude
Clearly, the 31 goal season has proven to be an aberration
He’s a low20s per year goal scorer
How much u willing to pay for that?
Kevin Hayes just got 7x7+ last year
If we gave that to Toffoli, I’d be p!ssed

True, that's the other argument against it.
